Healthy Child Programme and Age of Opportunity compared Published: 31 March 2014 The study that resulted in the Age of Opportunity (AoO) report included a strong recommendation that local areas fully implement the Healthy Child Programme (HCP), which we found to be patchily followed in many areas. Age of Opportunity also added a number of important recommendations on aspects missing from HCP. We provide a table aligning the two sets of recommendations and a report drawing conclusions from this comparison of the two bodies of work.
